Resurrection

A visual re-interpretation of Common’s 1994 classic album, Resurrection. The design explores the thematic duality of the album—grit and soul, life and death. Utilizing a raw, xeroxed aesthetic, the artwork contrasts a skeletal structure (mortality) on the front with a cherubic figure (rebirth) on the back. The high-contrast, two-tone palette emphasizes the rough, archival nature of the soundscape.
